Everything on the list, explained plainly

Computer help, PC & Mac support, iPhone & iPad help, Wi-Fi, printers, smart home, and AI help — house calls across Monmouth County, NJ.

If it plugs in, connects, rings, prints, or refuses to do any of those things — it's probably on this page. Here's how the list is delivered, so nothing is a surprise:

  • At your home, by me personally — most of this page.
  • Remotely — by phone or screen-share, for the jobs that don't need a visit.
  • At your parent's home — visits arranged by family, handled the same patient way.
  • Bigger install projects — I plan and coordinate them; the physical install is done with trusted install help, and I handle the setup and teaching.
  • At your workplace — the short small-business list at the very end.

At home — everyday help

Computer help (PC & Mac)

Troubleshooting, tune-ups, malware and virus cleanup, updates, and the “it just started doing this yesterday” mysteries — diagnosed and explained, not shrugged at.

New device setup & data transfer

New computer, phone, or tablet set up properly from the start: accounts signed in, files and photos moved over, printer connected, email working — and the old device dealt with safely.

Wi-Fi & home networking

Dead spots mapped and fixed, router and mesh systems set up, slow internet figured out — is it the Wi-Fi, the router, or the provider? You'll know which one it is, and we'll test the coverage in the rooms that matter before I leave.

Printers & scanners

Setup, sharing across your devices, and an honest fix for “why won't it print.” Scanners too — including getting documents from the scanner to the person who needs them.

Phones & tablets

Setup, email, photos, storage that's suddenly full, and backups that actually run — so a lost phone isn't a lost photo library.

Smart TV & streaming

TVs set up and configured, streaming services signed in, soundbars connected — and the drawer full of remotes simplified down to one that makes sense.

Smart home

Doorbells, cameras, speakers, lights, and thermostats — set up, organized in one app where possible, and shown to you until you're comfortable running it yourself.

Home office setup

Monitor, dock, webcam, microphone, and lighting arranged so you look and sound right on video calls — at home, without the IT department.

Backup setup

iCloud, Google, or an external drive — set up, test-run, and confirmed working while I'm there, so “backed up” is something we've actually checked, not just hoped for.

Password manager setup

One password to remember instead of the notebook by the computer. I'll set it up and move your logins in. You'll also get a simple list of which accounts you have and how you sign in to each one — the methods, never the passwords themselves. The list is yours, and it stays under your control.

Photo organizing & sharing

Scattered photos — phone, old computer, camera card — gathered into one library, organized, and shared in albums your family can actually open.

Email cleanup & organization

Thousands of unread messages tamed: important mail easy to find, junk filtered and unsubscribed where we can, and a system simple enough to stay clean.

Scam checks & urgent scam help

“Is this email, text, or call legit?” Ask before you click or pay — checking first beats cleaning up later. And if something has already happened — a pop-up, a strange caller, a payment you regret — that's urgent: see the urgent help page for what to do right now.

Subscription & streaming audit

Find what you're paying for twice — the app billed through two services, the trial that quietly became a subscription — and cut the waste.

Apple ID & email account recovery

Locked out of the account everything else depends on? I work through the recovery steps with you, in person — calmly, in order, without the password-reset runaround swallowing your whole day.

One-on-one teaching

Your devices, your pace, plain English — and notes left behind so nothing depends on your memory. Any age; seniors especially welcome.

Patient tech tutoring

Learn the phone, tablet, or computer you already own. We go at your speed, cover what matters to you, and skip the jargon entirely.

AI one-on-one

How AI on your phone and computer can help your actual life — email, writing, photos, questions, planning. Includes the safety side: recognizing AI-cloned voices and too-perfect scam messages.

Video calls with family

FaceTime and Zoom set up and taught, so calling the grandkids is one tap — and you're confident joining, not dreading the link.

Patient portal & telehealth setup (MyChart, lab & pharmacy apps)

Doctor's portal, lab results, and pharmacy apps set up with logins that work — before the day you actually need them. Video visits tested ahead of time.

Help for a parent, arranged by family

A visit you arrange for a parent, handled patiently in their home. Family can join by phone or video if the parent would like that — and afterward, only as the parent directs, I send you a written summary of what was done. See For Families.

Bigger home projects

Quoted by the project. Install work is done with trusted install help and planned properly — I coordinate it, and I'm there for the setup and teaching afterward. Clear line: I don't do licensed electrical or alarm-contractor work, and I'll tell you straight if a job needs someone who does.

Home theater & whole-home audio

Screens, speakers, and streaming brought together into one system the whole house can actually operate.

TV installation, including mounting

Mounted, connected, configured, and the remote situation simplified before we call it done.

Smart lighting & scenes

Lights that follow a schedule or a single tap — “evening,” “away,” “movie” — set up and labeled clearly.

Outdoor TV & entertainment

Patio and pool-house setups built for outside, by project.

Security camera systems

Cameras and doorbells placed, connected, and set up so you can check in from anywhere — and understand the app before I leave.

For small businesses

A short list, by project — homes are the heart of this business, but local shops and offices ask, and these I can do well:

Conference room setup

Screen, camera, and microphone arranged so meetings just work — no ten minutes of “can you hear me?” Mounting and wiring are done with my install help; I handle the configuration.

Restaurants & retail

TVs, zoned sound, and digital menu boards, installed with my install help.

Small-business computer help

Workstations, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email, and printers — help-desk style, without hiring one. Network and server-rack work is done with my install partner.

Ongoing tech support plans — homes & small businesses

Regular check-ins, priority scheduling, and one familiar person to call, for a home or a small business. The standing arrangement instead of starting from zero every time something breaks.

Pricing

Simple prices, agreed before we start

No hourly meter running in the background, no surprise line items. Most visits fit one of these — and when something turns out bigger, I'll tell you what it costs before doing it, not after.

Standard visits and sessions. Bigger projects are quoted individually, in writing, before work starts.
